I got printed the cold light of a March morning in the high land of Castile. Here is a proper way for an artist to say that he was born in a village. Spain, province of Soria; have you ever heard of this ?.

I lived there for a few years. Then, followoging life´s whimsical will I finally landed in Madrid. In this city have I my present and, hopefully, definitive abode.

As an artist I haven´t gone through any particular, or academical learning. I mean, to the point to get any kind of  diploma . Some seasons as pupil to a painter from Madrid, and a time in the School of Professional Drawing (a bunch of great, gifted, teachers!) gave me some of art´s clues. The rest is selftaught.  Earlier I had spent two years at the School of Architecture of the Vallès (originally depending of Barcelona´s ETSA). I did not become an architect, but, among other things, I got there some drawing skills. And above all, I was taught to be an observer.

Over time I´ve realized that I also wanted for my inner world to be known by you. A world made and based on my own experiences, and the others´, and on those of many other´s who´ve preceded us.

I love history, within which I have my preferences. I love archaeology, as a poor remedy, consolation, to our human fate of physical disappearance. With respect to this and history I have two favorite ages. Why ?, I don´t know, I´d be pleased if the viewer would detect them himself.

Now, coming to present time, I also try  to grasp the world around me. The more and more, I am interested in human being. So said, pure and simple. I do all this without asking me for any, deep, philosophical reason. I only follow an impulse.

Once  I took part in an important competition. I did not win anything, of course!, except for a lesson in humility : so many, anonimous -without \\\"a name\\\"-, great artists there!. Despite of which, I dare to show my work. I can´t expect any glittering reward, except perhaps, from time to time, an ovation. Now, you, the viewer, come in and help yourself!

Sunday, November 29. It rains. I have decided to open a complementary field : PHOTOGRAPHY.

My usually working with a pen or a pencil doesn´t mean that I disdain the possibilities of a photo camera. In my opinion they are two roads that usually go parallel, and often are complementary. Though, take me, in my opinion we shouldn´t mix confusiedly their respective rôles.

However, my purpose continues being well defined. Despite of which, I think you´ll see significant differences comparing to my initial works. I confess I ignore almost everything in this new work field. Still, I hope to hit the nail on the head as often as possible.

Free and safe delivery

When you purchase art at Artelista, you have at your disposal thousands of artworks by artists from around the world, from up to 170 different countries, , and we don't want the delivery costs to be a problem when you want to enjoy the best art. The price shown at the artwork page is its final price, without surprises. Additionally, for your tranquility, the artwork is insured with the company Allianz Insurances during shipping, so we will handle everything if, unfortunately, the artwork is damaged before being delivered.

The estimated delivery time for Artelista fine art prints is 5-7 working days, whereas in the case of original artworks, it would vary depending on the origin country. Once the artist notifies us the artwork is ready for shipment, the delivery will be in the following 24-72 hours, These delivery times may be altered by custom clearance events, especially when the origin country of the artwork belongs to a different cross-national agreement (EU,NAFTA,etc.). here. Shipments from Argentina, Colombia or Cuba need of a special authorization for the exportation of artworks, so it is important to have this into account when calculating the delivery date.

Bear in mind we are dealing with works of art, so they may be in an exhibition (actually, this is awesome!). Those artworks which are in an exhibition are usually displayed as “non-available”. In case the artwork has been put up for sale, take into account the artist would have to manage with the organization of the exhibition the return of the artwork in order to be able to realize the shipment.
